Staying at La Pavoncella, in Baia delle Mimose, means having some of the wonders of northern Sardinia right at your fingertips.
In just 3 or 4 days, you can combine relaxing days on Li Junchi beach with short excursions to discover charming villages, hidden coves and truly unique landscapes.
Li Junchi and the Badesi Coast
Just a short distance from La Pavoncella, you will find Li Junchi, a long beach of golden sand and crystal-clear waters.
It is perfect for families, long walks along the shore and enjoying one of the most beautiful sunsets on the coast.
Castelsardo
About 20 minutes by car, Castelsardo is one of the most fascinating villages in Sardinia.
Its houses perched on the rocks, the castle and the narrow streets of the historic centre offer spectacular views over the Gulf of Asinara.
Isola Rossa
A small fishing village surrounded by its distinctive red rocks.
The harbour, beaches and beautiful sunset colours make Isola Rossa one of the most enjoyable excursions from Baia delle Mimose.
Costa Paradiso
For nature lovers, Costa Paradiso is a must.
Granite rocks shaped by the wind, hidden coves and crystal-clear waters make this stretch of coastline truly special. The Li Cossi area is one of the places not to be missed.
Valledoria and the Coghinas River
ust a short drive from La Pavoncella, the Valledoria area offers a completely different landscape.
The mouth of the Coghinas River, the dunes and the long beach of San Pietro a Mare are perfect for a peaceful day surrounded by nature.
And then… the whole coast
One of the great advantages of staying in Baia delle Mimose is being able to choose a different beach every day.
Li Mindi, Poltu Biancu, La Marinedda, Li Feruli, Cala Sarraina and many other beautiful spots along the northern coast can easily be reached by car.
Three or four days may be enough to fall in love with this part of Sardinia. But they probably won’t be enough to discover it all. ❤️
And perhaps that’s exactly what makes it so special: having La Pavoncella as your starting point and letting yourself be surprised, day after day, by a new corner of the sea.
